Letterkenny Town Park

Entrance to this fabulous Town Park is located just off the hospital roundabout on the Kilmacrennan Road. The park contains numerous walks, beautiful flower beds, a herb garden and orchards. There are play areas for children, a bowling green and a Garden of Remembrance. Tel:074 9194222.

Donegal County Museum

Glenveagh Castle and National Park, County Donegal, Ireland

Colmcille Heritage Centre

The story of St. Colmcille is told with artistically designed banners, stained glass, illustrated panels, artifacts, a wax model with authentic clothing and a step by step illustration of ancient manuscript fabrication. Grianán Ailigh Centre

This visitors centre tells the story of the ancient Ring Fort of Aileach of the Kings. The story and legend spans 4000 years in time. Around the centre there are two kilometres of walkways and the centre also has a craft shop and restaurant. Tel: 074 9368000

St. Eunan's Cathedral

St. Eunan's Cathedral dominates the Letterkenny skyline. It was opened in 1901 by William Hague of Dublin. Amici of Rome created the beautiful ceilings and stained glass windows are by the Mayer firm of Munich.
